Listening to the new Crossfaith album is like air guitaring into a pool of radioactive eels. Sheer shock. The album is juiced with waves of electronica and massive breakdowns that accompany massive dubstep drops.  Apocalyze marks the third run for the Japanese metalcore crew, and they have raised the bar once more. Merging the genres of metalcore and electronica, Crossfaith have given birth to a new monster. Apcocalyze is a solid super sonic jolt of power and the tracks are fully charged. "Hounds of the Apocalypse" is what the end of the world will sound like in 2040 when cyborgs take over and we all become slaves to them and "Eclipse is the "look what we can do" track. However, the stand out track is "Counting Stars". From the clasical intro to the space drifting breakdown, this track is every genre in the galaxy and it shifts within seconds.  Crossfaith are an untouchable breed at the moment and they have made an album that your metalcore friends and dubstep friends can both agree on. It's a game changer. It's dangerous. It's the future.
